An explosion of new vehicle designs will emerge when hydrogen fuel powered cars become the standard in the automobile industry. The electricity to power these vehicles would be generated within a much smaller engine from the hydrogen fuel, thereby eliminating many of the limitations imposed not only by the size of gasoline engines, but also those restrictions based on the heat produced by a gasoline engine. Limitations from designing around current driveline equipment would also be eliminated by the new hydrogen-fueled vehicles.

* Cars that run on electric power are also considered to be alternative fuel vehicles.

These are only a few of the facts about alternative fuels. By far, the most accepted right now is E85 alternative fuel. My Dream Vehicle

It would be a dream come true having a Yellow Hummer H2 while donning a pair of cool Sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt, looks cool though but I think It would be really expensive over $50,000 for the vehicle alone just to have that soldier of fortune look. Driving a HUM-V is one of my greatest dreams and do Off- Roading or driving a specialized vehicle on unpaved roads, such as sand, gravel, riverbeds, mud, snow, rocks, and other natural terrain would be a great adventure.
Essentially a hummer is a great vehicle for traveling anywhere in the world like having a safari adventure in the tropical country of Africa, stereotyping Indiana Jones encountering tribes and hunting treasures and wiping off dust and dirt on Reading Glasses.
In Africa Off- Roading is the normal form of transport. Unpaved roads can attain ‘off-road’ aspects during the rainy season, when extra gears and four-wheel drive can become desirable or even necessary. Although In Western countries the term is frequently used usually more specifically for recreational pursuits.
Although this type of vehicles may look too unfit in city streets, it’s the macho look that counts for men HELL YEAH, but if you are pencil thin and you own a HUMMER it is not macho at all if you look like an antenna beside it. Just like wearing an eyeglasses without lens on it, even if it’s just Designer Frames but if you feel you look smart on it yet you can’t even answer a simple mathematical question that’s so stupid.
Just a reminder though before buying vehicles we have to be aware of the standards in the country we are in and we should be very particular with the terrain and conditions. For example we cannot use a left hand drive vehicle in Europe because their standard for driving vehicles are all right handed. This is not really a big deal though but we should be carefully aware of that. Specially matching the terrain and tires we don’t want to drive low-rise cars on rough terrain do we? Or It will be damaged all over. Tires have certain standards for specific terrains unlike all terrain vehicles it is designed for almost everywhere dune, rocks and mud. So as we can see a Hummer is the perfect vehicle for anyone who are willing to travel around the world but one of it’s downsize is the size itself it’s just too over sized, occupying almost one lane of the highway unfit for countries with small roads like Asia unless we carry a bike at the back of the trunk.

What You Show Know About Who Killed The Electric Car

In late 2006, an interesting and somewhat controversial documentary was released on DVD. It was called “Who Killed the Electric Car?” and it took a look at the history and evolution of the electric car and the road blocks it has encountered in gaining a good market share.

The main subject matter of “Who Killed the Electric Car?” is the electric car that was introduced by General Motors (GM) called the EV1 back in the 1990s. It was later removed from the market despite the fact that it was well-received and functioned satisfactorily.

“Who Killed the Electric Car” looks into the birth, limited marketing and promotion, and the eventual demise of the battery powered electric vehicle which was introduced as an alternative to combustion engines.

Some of the players in this story, with regard to the introduction of the electric motor generator in the United States, plus the organizations that were investigated for their role in, what many believe, the death of the electric motor power are: the automobile manufacturers, the United States government, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the oil industry.

The film was released to the home video market in November of 2006 by Sony Picture Home Entertainment, after it was shown in conjunction with “An Inconvenient Truth” in theaters in many markets across the US.

The film, “Who Killed the Electric Car” also looks at some of the other difficult challenges that were faced by GM in an attempt to bring the ground-breaking EV1 to the market. Some of these challenges included: battery issues with regard to recharge time, heat build up, reliability and drive time; the promise of hydrogen vehicles and the potential threat of competition; and consumers and their attitudes and habits as related to the small electric sports car.

The premise of “Who Killed the Electric Car” also focuses on some of the problems that were encountered in trying to deal with the California Air Resources Board. The mandates that they passed, negatively impacted the attempt by General Motors to widely and successfully introduce their electric car to the market.

It also looks at some of the other issues of concern at the time, such as air pollution and environmentalism, the political situation with the Middle East, as well as the growing concerns over global warming.

One of the strangest turns of events that the film chronicles is the fact that GM took possession of virtually all of the EV1 cars that had been leased by consumers. They dismantled them and crushed them, claiming there was no demand for the product. However many consumers came forward and were interviewed for the documentary and showed a clear affinity for, and a desire to keep, their electric cars.

“Who Killed the Electric Car?” also takes on the issues of the underlying motivations, both those obvious and some more obscure, that played into why the auto industry and the oil industry seemingly worked together to impede the progress of the EV1 and it’s introduction into the marketplace.
